Pack Registration
Welcome back to Pack 73, and a BIG welcome to all our new families!
Who can join?
Boys and girls aged 6 to 11 (or between Kindergarten and 5th grade) are all welcome to join the pack at any time!
Registration & Dues
New Scouts
Registering as a new Scout is a three-step process:
During registration, you will need to pay national/corporate dues. For 2023-2024, this is $105 for new scouts.
($25 one-time registration fee + $80 annual fee + (optional) $15 for Scout Life magazine)
This is to pay for common expenses (see below for examples). For new members, we collect $60.
($30 for pack dues, and $30 hold-back for other fees such as adult dues and pack recharter)
This is how the pack tracks membership and communicates events.
Existing Scouts
Existing Scouts simply need to pay the pack dues on our CheddarUp page. Once registered, the pack will pay the national/corporate dues.
Dues for 2023-2024 are $185:
$80 for BSA
$45 for Patriots Path Council
$30 for Pack dues (see below)
$30 for misc. fees such as pack recharter and adult leader fees.
Note that if you have more than one Scout in the pack, there is a $10 discount towards the second and third child.
What are pack dues used for?
Some examples of how the Pack money is utilized:
Pinewood Derby kits & upgrades to the track
Pack t-shirt, next rank neckerchiefs for those advancing in June
Subsidizing pack events & prizes (i.e. fishing, campfire, camping)
Maintenance and repair of pack materials (i.e. camping equipment)
