Pack Registration

Who can join?

Boys and girls aged 6 to 11 (or between Kindergarten and 5th grade) are all welcome to join the pack at any time!

1. Pay the annual BSA membership fee

For the 2024-2025 scouting season, this is $135, which covers both national and district fees.

• New scouts: Pay when you register at the BSA website

• Existing scouts: Pay by logging in to your my.scouting.org account

2. Pay the pack dues

For the 2024-2025 scouting season, this is $75, which covers common pack expenses (see below for examples).

• All scouts:  Pay through our CheddarUp page.

3. Keep updated through TroopTrack.

Make sure you sign up for an account through the pack's TroopTrack system to keep updated with news and events.

What is the annual BSA membership fee used for?

The annual BSA membership fee is split between the national BSA organization and our local council and district. These fees fund things like:

• National program organization

• Training courses

• Insurance

• Scout Campgrounds & Reservations

Patriots' Path Council also provides a breakdown of the 2024-2025 fees.

What are pack dues used for?

Some examples of how the Pack money is utilized:

• Pinewood Derby kits, trophies, and upgrades to the track

• Pack t-shirt, rank awards, etc.

• Subsidizing pack events & prizes (i.e. fishing, campfire, camping)

• Maintenance and repair of pack materials (i.e. camping equipment)
